Dr. Dan McAlexander, Provost
Joining Belmont University as Provost in 2001, Dr. McAlexander serves as both Chief Academic and Chief Operating Officer. He leads most areas of the university dealing directly with the student experience, including all academic programs and support services, student and residence life, and student services.

Dr. Marcia McDonald, Associate Provost and Professor of English
A member of the Belmont faculty since 1981, Dr. McDonald has served in a number of administrative positions and leadership roles. As Associate Provost, she works with all services and units that support the academic program, including international education, service-learning, library and general education.

Dr. Susan West, Vice President for Presidential Affairs
A member of Belmont staff since 1988, Dr. West has served in a number of administrative positions and leadership roles during her tenure. As Vice President for Presidential Affairs, she is responsible for coordinating the auxiliary operations of the university, including the Curb Event Center, and working with other members of the Senior Leadership team to ensure Belmont's effective operation.
